Center Manager / Julie Lee

I've been living in Korea and teaching English to native speakers of Korean for about seven years. Through my experience I've gained a wealth of knowledge on how to facilitate my students’ acquisition of English. Having also studied several foreign languages, I feel I understand the challenges inherent in learning a new language and so conduct my classes with a patient, lighthearted atmosphere that I hope encourages students.
Service Team / Rikardo Wharten
Hello everyone, I'm Rikardo and I'm from New York City. I've been in Korea since 2008 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I like eating, music, meeting new and strange people and most of all, having a good time. If you see me around, feel free to say hi.
Service Team / Greg Bessette
Hello, my name is Greg Bessette. I’m from Canada and I grew up in a small city in the middle of Canada called Saskatoon. My first time to Asia was in 2008 when I studied abroad as an exchange student in Thailand. In 2010 I travelled around Europe for several months and got a CELTA certificate after taking a course in Bulgaria. After a brief time abroad I knew I wanted to continue living in a foreign country and I had heard a lot of good things about Korea from friends and family, so in 2011 I packed my bags and moved to Korea and I have been here ever since. It has been a great experience so far and I love the convenience and adventure of living in a modern and bustling city. I joined the ranks of Wall Street English in the spring of 2015 and enjoy it very much. It’s great to meet new people and learn a lot about a different culture in a foreign country. I also strive to be a passionate teacher and want my students to feel comfortable while practicing and learning English. When I’m not teaching I like to play hockey (both ball and ice), enjoy different food and beverages, and travel to new and exciting places. If you see me around the center, feel free to say hi, or ask any questions you may have.
Service Team / Jonathon Thompson
Hi, my name is Jonathon, but you can call me Jon (only my mom calls me Jonathon). I'm from Canada, but I have spent the past 12 years living in, and traveling abroad. I've managed to visit over 50 countries in that time, so i guess you could say I am an avid traveller. I love to hear about my students' own travel experiences, so if you have a cool tale to tell, come and share it with me! See you around.
Service Team / James Kesner
Hello, my name is James Kesner. I grew up in a suburb of Toronto, Canada and have been living in Korea for several years. I've taught English in both Canada and Korea. Outside of the classroom, I'm interested in writing, literature, art, movies and music. If you see me around WSE and have a question or just want to chat, please don't hesitate to talk with me. I look forward to meeting you!
